Stella Camargo -Styers was elected to represent Palo Verde Community College Trustee Area 1, in 2016 through 2020. She was re-elected in 2020 to serve as Trustee for Palo Verde Community College by the community members of Blythe, California. She was elected President of the Board twice by her peers.

Stella Camargo-Styers was born and raised in Blythe, California, and moved away to start a career in law. A graduate of the University of San Diego Paralegal Program, she began her career for the 8th largest law firm in San Diego, Lorber, Grady, Farley, and Volk, where she practiced law for 13 years. Her love for Blythe brought her back to continue her career in Criminal law for the Riverside County Law Offices of the Public Defender for 17 years, working along other peers as the Honorable Judge Sarah Elizabeth Christenson and Honorable Russell L. Moore for the Riverside County Superior Court in California. Serving her community, Mrs. Camargo- Styers was an asset to the Blythe Drug Court and the Fresh Start Program. Stella Camargo-Styers retired after 30 years as a Paralegal.

Mrs. Camargo-Styers enjoys the community of Blythe and will continue to serve on the Board of Palo Verde Community College.
