Bio - Women's Head Baskeball Coach

A native of Stillwater, MN, Dylan Longley enters his first season as the Head Coach at PVC. This will be Longley's 7th season coaching in the college ranks where he's made stops at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, Central Methodist University, North Dakota State College of Science, and Lake Region State College. He has coached 7 First Team All-Conference players and 1 Third Team All-American, including many other athletes that have earned honors on and off the court. During his 6 previous seasons coaching at the collegiate level he has helped lead two separate teams to the national tournament, including 1 win in the National Tournament.

Coach Longley started his career at his alma mater, the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, where he worked as the Director of Basketball Operations and Assistant Coach for 3 seasons from 2015-2018. He helped the Falcons to the national tournament in 2015-16 where they won their first national tournament game in over 20 years. After his time at UWRF, Longley spent 1 season as a Graduate Assistant at Central Methodist University in Fayette, Missouri. During his lone season with the Eagles he helped develop a Third-Team All-American while leading individual workouts and player development drills. During the 2019-20 campaign Coach Longley was an Assistant at North Dakota State College of Science where he headed the recruiting efforts and individual player development that lead the team to the National Tournament.

During 2018 Longley was nominated for the WBCA 30 under 30 Award during his time at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. During the summer of 2021 he was selected to coach the NJCAA All-Star games in Atlanta, Georgia. Although Coach Longley is new to the west coast, he's excited for the opportunity to build a program at PVC and looks to establish the foundation for future pirates to be successful on and off the court.
