Academic Notice

We are invested in your success at Palo Verde College and strongly encourage you to do your best in your current classes.

It is essential that you earn passing grades and complete the courses you are currently enrolled in to avoid possible pause from PVC at the end of each semester. State regulations will make any student who has been on Academic or Progress notice for two or more consecutive semesters ineligible for priority registration. We urge you to read the college catalog for detailed information regarding our policies and regulations on Academic or Progress notice.

Also, state regulations may make any student who is on Academic or Progress notice ineligible for some or all financial aid benefits. If you have extenuating circumstances, you have the option to appeal your academic status with the Financial Aid Department.
